Once a year the World Cup of winter sports takes place in South Tyrol. Fast skiers, those who go sledding, freestylers on ski and snowboard and climbers. Every of them comes here and give us emotions. Thousand of tourist from all around the world comes to cheer on the athletes. South Tyrol is going to be the elite destination for 8 races between the World Cup and the Biathlon European Championships. Indeed, from 10th to the 16th December one of its stage will take place in Ridnaun. What in the programm projected is: mixed relay, sprint and pursuit. From the 13th the World CUP Saison will see the very start in Carezza with the snowboard race, following in Val Gardena, Alta Badia and Plan de Corones. First, on the 14th men's downhill on the strenous Saslong and then, oh the 16th, the 33°edition of Audi FIS Ski World Cup in Alta Badia. At the end of the second manche the “Segra dla Gran Risa” will take place as usual to entertain all the adults.
