“Children need to feel like they are in Funland in our mini club: if they are happy, then their parents will enjoy their holiday to the fullest.” Michaela’s eyes sparkle when she talks about her job. “I like working with children – they are free from filters, they are authentic, sometimes even ruthless because they honestly tell me if I am doing my job right. Since I was a child I always dreamt of becoming a teacher and I like my job because I love what I do. When I heard that there was a vacancy for the direction of the Schneeberg Hotel mini club, I instantly knew that that charge had to be mine. You may think of the mini club as the heart of the house, because everything converges here: parents, children and co-workers. We are a family-oriented hotel, after all, hence we pay particularly attention to the child care, which is – I daresay – a crucial element when it comes to choose a destination. Every kid goes to the mini club at least once during their stay, sometimes out of curiosity or maybe because they already know us. Parents are generally very happy if they can take a little break, even if is for a few hours, for some wellness or maybe a couples treatment in the beauty-farm. However, they need to know that their precious are in safe hands, and that is why we are here; we are aware of the responsibility our job requires and I can tell you something: those who see our mini club hardly want to leave it. I cannot picture myself in any other task.
