Scientific name: Petroselinum crispum
Family: Umbelliferae (Apicaceae)

Parsley is native to south-eastern Europe, where it’s commonly used to flavour and season various dishes. It’s rich in vitamins A, B and C and minerals such as iron and calcium, as well as essential oils.
